In my practice I have been trained in a form of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy called Attachment Based/Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (AB/IS-TDP). From all the recent outcome research, AB/IS-TDP is the only Psychotherapy that can show long lasting change to character as opposed to giving just SYMPTOM relief for a period of time. AB/IS-TDP has also been shown through outcome research, to be able to deal with difficult mental and somatic (Body Pain) more effectively and in a much shorter period of time. People with high anxiety and high resistance have been given relief from their suffering in a much shorter period of time compared to other Psychotherapies. Conditions that are often difficult to work with such as eating disorders, addictions, anxiety disorders, mood disorders have been shown to change/recover quicker and remain changed permanently. ...
