Your privacy matters, especially when you are looking for counselling. This page explains what happens to your information when you visit terrybrennen.com.
The short version
- This website does not use cookies.
- There is no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- Nothing you do on the site is shared with other companies unless you choose to use one of their services, such as booking through Calendly or opening the map.
Information stored on your device
The site remembers two small preferences in your own browser, so the site works the way you left it:
- whether you chose light or dark mode
- the scroll position of the menu on small screens
These stay on your device. They are not cookies, are never sent to us or anyone else, and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.
Hosting
The website is hosted on Google Firebase. Like any web host, Firebase necessarily handles basic technical information, such as your IP address and the pages requested, in order to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. We do not use this information to identify or track visitors.
The fonts, images and other files that make up the site are served from terrybrennen.com itself.
The map
The map on the Contact page is provided by Google Maps. To protect your privacy, it is not loaded until you press Show map. Once you do, Google receives your request and may set cookies, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
